Little Boxes is such a good song that gets stuck in my head just about anytime that I drive around looking at little bungalows longingly. Upon research it turns out the song was inspired by a part of town in San Francisco referred to as Daly City. I will seek it out next time I’m there.

Actually, Daly City is not part of San Francisco. It is a bedroom community that borders SF to the south – I work in one of the Daly City public libraries!
