My Mom and I went to the Sleepy Poet last Sunday for what I thought would be a sure thing.
And it was…another big let down. A big whiff, a strike out–what gives? My Mom however scored 4 great pieces of art.
Here are some things I saw during the visit,

my Mom bought this, we’re not sure where to place it in her house yet but sometimes you gotta buy what you love
a round desk with a sexy slim leg called the “Sophisticate”
nice colors in this vintage painting
this speaks for itself I think, beautiful dove gray color
neat folk art portraits, again great colors
I’m on the hunt for a vintage coat rack a la Thomas O’Brien American Modern for my kitchen, so this was of interest to me, much better prices compared to Ebay
We went to the Sleepy Poet this past weekend…. so much stuff to look through, but I didn’t find anything either. We had lunch at a yummy Vietnamese Grill down the street.
