My former home has made a return to the Sandhills area real estate market. If you’re moving to the Pinehurst/Southern Pines, North Carolina area any time soon–you’ll want to come and check it out.
You can see the local listing here, on Zillow, Realtor and Trulia.
There are built-ins and cabinets galore in this house. One of my favorite updates was adding the Visual Comfort Vendome sconces beside the fireplace and on either side of the front door. I think most of us can agree that the ceiling beams are pretty cool, it’s an English country kind of feel.
The biggies in the kitchen include the fridge upgrade complete with new cabinet above to match the existing cabinets, new dishwasher and new kitchen door.
It’s such a unique spot and very private and it has great views of the Mid Pines golf course. Mid Pines just did some course renovation to their vintage 1920s course. I called this place my mini-estate.
It’s 2,500 square feet with lots of 1920s character and a lot of updates some of which have been covered here on the blog. One of the best parts about the property is the separate guest cottage. The cottage has it’s own address and utility connections and a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Rent the cottage for some extra income, offer to extended stay guests, in-laws, a college student that isn’t ready to completely leave the nest.
The master bath got a facelift including: new sconces, mirrors, new cabinet fronts and re-tiled shower and new fixtures. The wall color in here is Benjamin Moore’s Dove White and it’s good.
The wall color in the master bedroom is Benjamin Moore Wickham Gray. Remember the decision making process.
This was Laney’s nursery upstairs. This room came together on Pinterest. My fantastic Grandma Jo-Jo made that quilt from a pink sheet set I purchased at Home Goods and quilting fabric. The bumpers also from the workroom of Jo-Jo are fashioned from white sheets and Rubie Green’s East Village in pink.
This room obviously deserves a dedicated post and I’m working on it.
The dining room got a minor facelift with the addition of the some fixtures, some paint and natural shades. The wall color in the dining room is Benjamin Moore’s Healing Aloe.
We’re planning a Broker Open House for August 29th, we’ll have some wine and hopefully enjoy a slightly cooler sit on the patio by then. Please email Sarah O’Brien at Keller Williams Realty for more info about the Open House on the 29th or about the property.
Thanks for playing,
It’s spectacular, Sarah. I can imagine someone will snap it up in no time.
Thanks Ashley!
I’d move in! Looks really nice, Sarah. Keep us posted on this gem.
Thanks Danielle, I trust you’ll do the same with your kitchen reno!
That’s a great looking house! I hope that you find the right buyers and I’m excited to see what you do with the next place!
I had a little laugh at your BIO-line at the end of the post. It’s funny cause its true!
