Estate Envy: Affordable in Austin

If you’re not envious that your town’s slogan isn’t “Keep it Weird” like Austin’s is, then maybe you’ll feel a tinge of green when you see this home, designed by CF Architecture and listed for $269,000.

The house combines tall ceilings, natural light and loft appeal with privacy and livability. It has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms off the open public space.

I’m decorating in my head, I’m also going to SXSW and other such music festivals, and I’m putting Domino’s Last Shopping Guide ever to the test and hitting up UnCommon. Okay, head trip over….. back to work!

Thanks for playing,

  • This IS a cool house however I’ve been around long enough to know that just a few years ago the ’60-’70 era exterior design would have been considered hideous…it’s interesting how one minute what we consider cool, beautiful, special, or thought provoking can become hideous, outdated, or boring. It’s exhausting trying to keep up :-)
