I’m geeking out about the local real estate market again. If we’re being honest, I had a pint (or two) at Harry Potter trivia night and I’m looking at this first house for maybe the 20th time and there’s new photos and I’m thinking it could be a dream. Tell me what you think.
30 West McDonald Road, it’s not in my beloved SoPi but its in beautiful historic Pinehurst and that’s pretty ok because the whole entire back of the house is a glass sunroom that could be opened up to the pool.
Why I like it – It’s close to Pinehurst Village which is a dreamscape of green longleaf pines and storybook cottages. I like it because of the l-shape of the house, the big rooms, the price but most important of all the potential to open the back of the house up with those cool folding doors and let it melt right in to the green backyard and the pool. Yasssss.
What I don’t like – Poor attempt to be kind of glam and paint the kitchen cabinets glossy black in a galley kitchen. Galley kitchens are my least favorite.
Potential? – At that price point in Pinehurst Village, heck yeah!
