Weekend

Weekend2

Sarah is putting some finishing touches on the Bennett kitchen. If you follow her on Instagram, you’ll know that she’s settled on Benjamin Moore Peacock Blue for the pocket door. This weekend, she has loads of quality time with the fam on tap. She thinks it might be time to introduce her girls to the dip-trip-flip-fantastic world of Mary Poppins.

Betsy is heading down to San Diego for the weekend to rehearse with some music friends. They are preparing for a UK trip in July that includes a stage appearance. She’ll sing with The Luxembourg Signal on July 28th at the IndieTracks festival. Cue anxiety. As much as she loves her occasional music career, homegirl has ridiculous stage fright.

Here’s some interneting for the lazy moments in your weekend:

We put together a playlist for the SoCal Seventies Gypsy inside of you. Put this on blast and get to work on your DIY God’s Eye Wall Art.

When I grow up, I want to be Texas based hospitality rock star, Liz Lambert. Here’s a taste of what she’s all about:

Ultimately I think we’re all looking for communal experiences — places and times that connect us to the world in meaningful and beautiful ways. People argue that this is because we are living more and more separate lives. I’m guessing humans have always felt this way. I think I’m just a hippie at heart and to me there’s nothing more meaningful than sitting around a campfire with good friends. I hope there’s a market for it. So far, so good.

Speaking of TX, did you already know about bunglo? Our friend Bregan shared this with us and I’m thinking I need a shower curtain and a clutch or two.

Happy Weekending!
