Sarah and I are decidedly fans of bunnies. It’s a term of endearment, its passwords (security breach), its nicknames, it’s loving imagery, it’s artwork.
We dig em the most.
Coincidentally, so does this powerhouse of a painter, Hunt Slonem. His fascination reportedly began at birth, since he was born in the Chinese year of the rabbit… I was born in the Chinese year of the monkey, nonetheless like Hunt, I too choose bunnies for artistic expression.
I can’t thank this man enough for his fascination, and I’m now indebted to Lee Jofa for bringing my attention to this matter, and making my body quake with some desire to decorate a nursery. Have a look!
