Mother’s Day is next weekend and since we love our mamas, love being mamas, love thinking about becoming mamas and love thinking about our daughters becoming mamas – its a special day for so many ladies in the TEOT camp.
I have to re-share this graphic that we made a couple of mother’s days ago, b/c it remains one of my favorite ever.

Isn’t it amazing that mamas have had whole unique lives and experiences before we came to live and know them as our mom?
I’m sure that may sound simple and perhaps even silly to some people, but I’ve been thinking about it. Whenever your children come to you, they know you in a role that is loving, caring and giving…. sacrificing of their time, their sleep, their energy, their identity and so much of what came before you.
And we just take it all, all that they give.
And its the natural order of things. And they love it, and they love us.
It’s a special time for me and for my mama. There is no gift I could give to express my gratitude on a Sunday. But I’ll try to find something for her this week that she will enjoy.
