Well it’s Monday and amidst the grind, we offer a little escape by taking a look at the work of Ross Chapin and later the concept of pocket neighborhoods or communities.
Ross Chapin Architects, based on Whidbey Island in Washington’s Puget Sound, has created so many envious designs. Chapin’s projects have been featured in numerous publications including but not limited to The Wall Street Journal, Cottage Living, New York Times, Forbes and This Old House.
Chapin’s designs have been a bountiful source of inspiration for me since I first discovered them in 2006.  Chapin & company’s plans are avaible for purchase through GoodFit. These are some of my favorite Chapin designs.

These photos make me want to bake. . . then curl up with a blanket and a good book. Cozy!
Gorgeous. Which plan is the one with the outdoor fireplace in the middle? Too beautiful for words
