The Pax free-standing wardrobe hacks are most excellent. I’ve seen them painted black with brass hardware and now Jenna Sue built those in to make a pantry in her custom kitchen reno. Makes you feel excited to put the dishes away.

The Charming Nest blog is putting Hemnes to work in all kinds of situations. Some carpentry skills will take you and Hemnes a long way. I really, really want to make my own beefed up Hemnes sideboard. Get me some reproduction latches and sash pulls and some crown molding and we’re in business.

The Nesters did it again, this time with the Hemnes TV stand molded in to mudroom storage.

Love this roundup. I’m real tempted to try out that bar cart project cause it just looks so easy. But, I’m really drawn to all the fun built-in options with the Billy.

The Billy built-ins are really interesting so are the kitchen islands b/c they are solid pine as are most of the Hemnes pieces. A good friend of mine did a Rast hack with the ring pulls that was circling around the internet for a while and she said the Rast just fell apart and she hated it b/c she spent a lot of time doing the hack.
