Over the weekend we went to the Cameron Antiques Festival in Cameron, NC. They have two each year, in the spring and fall.
Some of my favorite things spotted,
Great vintage plane for display and then great for play once the child is old enough.
I keep reading about laboratory glass for vases and bath storage. My friend Kristin bought the trio of beakers with the round bottoms for $20! Those are going to look great on her dining table!
Don’t think you could really go wrong with these two cottage tables, bedside or accent in the living room.
This chair reminded me of the Hudson Valley. I picture it sitting on a screened porch with a wool throw tossed over the back.
Probably a plant stand maybe even Victorian but translates well today because of its moorish design. I thought hard about this as an accent table in my living room. I imagined it white but you could also paint it a vibrant color and put it just about anywhere. Stack books on it and put it in the living room, put it in a bedroom or put it next to your soaker tub in the bathroom.
This lamp caught my eye, it was in pristine condition and I’m not sure if it was vintage or if someone just took great care of it or restored it.
We’re looking forward to going to Metrolina in Charlotte in November, I think Eddie Ross is going to be there. Thanks for playing,
love that lamp.
I think IKAT is just a trend. Folks will get sick of it.
Even Pottery Barn sells it!
I fear that on the kitchen table they will meet their demise…. you know the White curse with breakable things. I was thinking maybe they could find a happy home in a bookshelf far away from me lol :-)
I saw this (http://shopgramercy.blogspot.com/2010/05/our-current-obssession-cane-chair.html) chair earlier today and the chair you posted reminded me of it.
That lamp is uber cool!
Folks, I want that plane…
From your photos The Cameron Antiques Festival looks like a good place to shop…
…maybe one of these days, I’ll get there.
Thanks
Martin
