In my little Hickory bungalow, the builders (my dad and bro) went for a nuetral brown throughout the entire home. It took me a good year to battle the brown, and since I’ve never felt particularly warm to the color, in fact I’d say I was a hater.
But then, as I was pondering that Kuba Cloth photo, I was hit with the realization that a nice earthy and warm room with brown accessories and rustic woods evokes a rather sophisticated retreat like feeling. So, I’m turning myself around on brown. Here are a few examples of a look into brown town without feeling like you’re swimming in doo doo.
