Wax emo with this little jaunt down memory lane by Buzzfeed, 35 Bands All Old School Emo Kids Love. I want you all to know that Sarah was a big Get Up Kids fan when we were in college and I dabbled a little myself in the sweater box. We hung out with just enough of a crowd of people to make up a scene, even though making a scene and then calling it a scene is against the rules. I always marveled at the politics of categories. I feel confident that I’m ride or die myself and that I’m more of an anarchist than that punk dude with the tattooed chest that stepped to Dallas and started a riot at Joels apartment that New Year’s Eve of 2001. But, this song has become the anthem of my underground.
Sarah stumbled upon a modern gem in her SoPi hood, so it looks like if I need to move there I have a prospective dream home.
