Suzanis in Small Doses

We talk about textiles from around the world a lot and sometimes I feel like a broken record but we talk about them because they are prevalent, beautiful and they make for a collected and unique space. They are everywhere and you probably either have some in your home now, purposefully or not, or you have something in your space that has been influenced by or is a copy of a cultural pattern from the other side of the globe.

I was thinking about all of the different suzani applications because we got these beautiful suzani pillows in our shop and I quickly realized, like with anything you can overuse something until it becomes a theme or just kind of well…tacky.

So let’s talk about restraint in design and dosages,
