Charlotte Project: A Family Room Design

As a quick refresher, the Charlotte Project is an interior design consultation for a no-fuss family with New Traditional leanings. We just had a look at the paint color palette that we selected last week.

One of the primary objectives for the Charlotte Project was designing a cohesive plan for their family room. You can see my inspiration board for the space here.

The family room is important because next to their kitchen, this is where they will spend a lot of time in their home. The clients bought a new traditional brick home and the style and flow of the rooms lent itself well to an updated traditional style. Here’s a look at our choices for the final design.

    • Hi Lee, Thanks for dropping in.
The rectangular pattern that is labelled as Dunham Fabric, is actually the textile that Sarah planned to use on the chair shown at right. Sorry if that was a little unclear. There actually is no rug included in the plan.
