A Sunny SoCal Color Combo from West Haddon Hall

Sarah, thanks for pinning this West Haddon Hall room from a recent Domaine Home feature.

It got me thinking about color schemes in a predominately neutral room.

If you are like me, then you love color and the thought of a mostly neutral room seems kinda crazy, like a lost opportunity. I understand that many people have problems that are the complete opposite of this (I co-blog with one and I also live with one.)

I’m the type of decorator that needs to harness the power of editing. Which are you?

This room popped into my feed though and I am drawn to it in a way that made me curious. Made me want to break it all down and pull out the scheme. There is such balance. I love the look. Those little pops of blue and orange, pulled from the Suzani draped over the back of the couch, give the room life, right?
