Trends: Windsor Chairs

It seems like everyone has got their own iteration of the windsor chair. I’m seriously considering this style for side chairs in my dining room. What’s your feel on the windsor?

  • Always a good choice! I love windsor chairs, and have the Martha Stewart for Bernhardt ‘East Hampton’ windsors around my breakfast table. They’re comfortable and classic. And though hers were made out of cast aluminum and sold as an ‘outdoor’ product, they were just the twist I was looking for – and heavy enough for our brood of boys to not tip over in them. We put little rubber feet on them to help them slide along the floor without making marks. Nearly 10 years on and they’re still comfy and classic.

PS: They’re discontinued, of course. But, if you’re looking for something like that, I just googled ‘Martha cast aluminum windsor’ and found Three Coins Cast. Their chairs look amazing.
