Venini Bottles
A little over a year ago I took a shine to this home featured in House Beautiful. Sorry about the image quality, some of these are tear outs. I’m pretty sure the home was designed by Peter Dunham.
After seeing it I have been searching the world over for an affordable big blue glass lamp. My Mom even called Hollywood at Home about the lamp spotted above in the HB feature. Too bad that lamp was WAY out of our price range. Thanks Mom, it was a great effort.
After perusing this month’s issue of House Beautiful, a trend emerged. Turns out there are glass bottles popping up everywhere.

Here’s an idea you can make happen in a weekend, just a trip to the local flea market, thrift store or antique mall and some clippings from your garden or your neighbor’s garden and bottle vignette…done.

Pefect inspiration for my little bungalow! We have green and oranges throughout, I love how they incorporated the blue tinted glass.
Maybe you could get a clear glass lamp and tint it blue.
AT had a post recently about tinting canning jars. Maybe it would work for a lamp.

Thanks for the tip Bromeliad, I’ll check that out.
Really amazing photos. They are so stylish these glass bottles, a bit like Apple products. :-) Really beautiful.
Fantasic photos! The one showing a large living room accessorised with the tree-trunk lampshade and the huge painting of a bird is my favourite, I would love to incorporate such a fresh yet earthy theme to my living room.
