My friend John totally scored the other day in an Ebay auction – and should be returning any moment now with 35 sections of a set of Gun Metal Grey Barrister Bookcases (including glass fronts.) Here’s to hoping that 35 is way too many for his space and I get to score some!! Right John? Yeah. Cause then I’m gonna take them down to the local auto shop and have them painted with the glossiest paint you’ve ever seen…… but what color?

Um Lastly, this link will make John REALLY happy about the steal of a deal he got for bidding on Ebay, even including the cost of pulling the trailer up to Baltimore to pick them up!! Yeah.. Check it out. Compared to $500 for a pristine set of 4 – John got 35 for $310.
SO JEALOUS!! I coveted a barrister’s cabinet at my father-in-law’s house for years (thinking it would be fab in my law office) and then it mysteriously “disappeared.” He has no idea where it went – how is that possible?? Sad. But happy for John!

Someone had a dozen white metal ones on Craigslist last year and I tried desperately to buy them…alas, it did not happen.
