Color Inspiration

I was perusing Gilt’s sales recently as I do everyday if I’m near a computer and saw David Aubrey’s jewelry collection.

When I saw this particular necklace with it’s combination of navy, aqua and lime green,

I immediately thought of Suze’s apartment that was featured in Domino a few years ago, it has always been one of my favorites.  Suze’s Jonathan Adler sofa is navy velvet and the aqua and lime green tones are introduced through accessories and other upholstered pieces.

As I continued to look through all of the jewelry in the sale I realized that there were several color combos that would translate very well in to rooms in our homes. And of course we know that color inspiration can happen any where.

Let’s consider some other color palettes,

Lilac & Grey

Apple Green, Melon & Pink

Do you have a favorite or perhaps you have a go to combination that you’d like to share?

Thanks for playing,

  • My fave is the navy, aqua & lime one. I also really like the turquoise one too… I can’t seem to get enough of the color blue.

  • We agree on blue, sometimes I think I may go monochromatic throughout the house…but then I come to my senses.

  • Great work! That is the kind of info that should be shared around the net. Disgrace on Google for now not positioning this put up higher! Come on over and visit my web site . Thanks =)
