Gallery walls are on my mind a lot these days, they always had their place in my brain but lately they’ve been front and center.
And everyday I stare at this wall in my living room, weighing down my progress in getting this house situated,
What do you want wall? Do you want a big piece of art and two smaller ones nestled alongside?
Do you want a large abstract or a large photograph that stands alone?
Do you want a gallery wall?
Do I need to go back to a sectional to wrap on to that wall?
Have you considered what I or the rest of the room wants at all? Did you think maybe the dining room wall might want a gallery wall too!
Oh the plague of indecision…sometimes I hit a wall but the answer will surface eventually.
This is a toughy. Lately, I’m leaning towards one or two extra large framed pieces in a room. I think the inspiration pic with the two large prints is from Amanda Peet’s home, right? One of my absolute favorites of all time.
Oooh close guess, I’m pretty sure it’s Nathan Turner’s house and Turner designed Peet’s house. After seeing Ashley Putnam’s Houston home again last week I’m leaning back towards gallery wall. I’ve got art leaning up against walls and it amounts to a gallery.
