These days I think about #lakelife a lot and my parents have been kicking around the idea of maybe moving in to a lakefront home and sometimes Dan and the girls and I think about maybe moving there too. Nothing we’re getting too serious about but my parent’s are definitely considering selling their home of 41 years and making the move.
They bought a very modest lake house that they have big plans for one day. But during the planning/fantasy phase we discovered a Canadian/US firm called Muskoka Living that has designed some pretty breathtaking homes and boat houses each one better than the last.
Those columns are really creative and pretty fresh to me
My Mom wants a lot of windows, she wants to bring the outside in and I’m completely on board, I just don’t want her to create the triangular window filled view that I saw in every friend’s lake house in the 90s. There’s definitely a way.
