When JJ was about 8 weeks old, a dear friend called on me to help her get her boat in order for an Apartment Therapy house tour.
It was also an important experience for me at the time, my first one re-emerging into a working world as a mom, and still a pretty fresh one at that.
JJ was an amazing baby and happily slept in my sling. I wore her for two days as I moved about, rearranged, edited and styled Kajon’s belongings in her tiny home.
Below are a few pics and a link to the article for the final outcome. She was a doll and purchased so much from TEOT that I brought along to help fill in some gaps, though most of her boho home on the water is her own collection.
Thanks Kajon, for loving on me and my baby, for supporting me in a very emotionally charged time of life and for giving me something important to do to help me understand that getting back to work was good for both me and the baby J.
So, that’s really about it. It’s not portfolio work by any stretch of the imagination, but I wanted to share anyway. It is always interesting to be behind the scenes on a media project like this, so I jumped to help.
