It’s been a minute since I’ve checked in on Target’s Home Decor happenings, but its a bit buzzy in my online world. Some of the designers and bloggers I love are partners or ambassadors for the brand, and while I thought I knew what was up, I didn’t realize what all was going on and how many of-the-moment trends they had to offer.
In particular, I have really been loving on this raw natural wood furniture pieces that I have been seeing pop up in more and more images online.
The bedside tables in the TEOT furniture collection are a perfect example of this beautiful raw natural wood look. So, when I saw our friend Jenny Komenda’s live Instagram of a Target shopping trip showing off a few of the vintage oak pieces they are now carrying, I ran to the site to have a better look for myself.
From there, I fell into the rabbit hole.
Let me tip you off to what I learned while perusing the site.
Digging the Raw Natural Wood Trend?
Shop Vintage Oak by Threshold.
I’d really like to seriously consider some of this new Threshold Vintage Oak stuff for my bedroom side tables, but all Target accent tables are tiny and will get swallowed up next to our King size bed.
Digging the African Mudcloth Trend?
Shop the Modern Global Home Decor collection.
Personally, I think you should buy the AUTHENTIC MUDCLOTH designs we sell, but hey – it’s the ‘get the look for less’ kinda thing that Target does so well, featuring the iconic tribal designs machine-printed on a linen-like material.
Diggin Scandinavian Inspired Minimalism?
Shop the Modern by Dwell Magazine collection.
All of these pieces together come off a little too cold and hard and futuristic for me, but add one or two pieces of those bold lines into your mix and you might just be on to something smart!
Diggin Iconic MidCentury Lines?
Shop the prolific Midcentury collection.
It’s my personal opinion that every room, every single room of all rooms everywhere needs at least a little something that harkens the atomic era.
Thanks for playing,
I wish to bring those my home!! Great post.
