I was just catching up on your blog and saw the bit about the chandelier you love. You know, I bet it won't read off-white when set against the navy blue walls. It will be so far removed from any other white, that it would probably be very hard to tell. Just an idea since you seem to love it so much.

I like the simple brass soho, but it doesn't appear to be available under $400. Really liking the idea of a little brass against your dark blue walls, but I can see the initial appeal of the white branchy coral thing.

You know me, I'd go out to the thrift stores and find something with some strange character and spray paint it.

The right capiz pendant could be awesome. I have about 50000000 capiz shells on strings sitting in the cellar of my house in NC..... doing no one any good.

Best of luck in your pendant pursuit. If you want Jeff's dining room chandelier, I could send it to you.

Definitely staged.... as here it is in the same room, but turned to branch out over the bookcase.

<img src="http://media-cache5.pinterest.com/upload/125749014565806304_TyCRUqKh_f.jpg">

The other side of the planter is hidden in both images. I'm picturing some guy in an all black suit, like a prop handler for the theater.... he's crouching behind the chair, holding it down!

Ha! I may or may not answer questions about the rock salt--in defense of my weirdness I was left to my own devices in rural NC where 9 greenhouses was my playground, we didn't go to the park, have arts & crafts or playdates.
I wish my parents would've kept the biz, I would've made my own little Terrain down here.
Love those Fiddle Leafs, I have 3. Just bought them last summer but they are much younger than yours. I think the tree in Dunham's design isn't leaning because its in a pretty heavy concrete planter. They likely staged that and it may spend most of its time braced on something outside. Make sure yours gets ample sunlight and doesn't defoliate like mine! Don't overwater.

I do not-- but it had flat white walls and white mini blinds. Still looking at horses and I like your animal perspective. Even Patrick Cline's horses are too rich-y for me.

I'd like to see a before picture of the office? Do you have?

I love the paint color choice, and really hope that the more whimsical of the two horses makes the cut. It's beautiful. And kind of cool to have two different animals staring at you dead on in the space..... The carnival fair animal and the gypsy horse.
