Weekend

GypsyShasta

Betsy and Heffe are hitting the road for some kind of musical experience in Dana Point, California. I don’t know too much about the band, but the San Diego friends that invited them are tops and they always have a blast hanging with them. They’ll spend the night and hit the road early Saturday for more more soccer tournaments.

It’s Sarah’s little girl, DC’s birthday time plus Spring Break in their camp. I’m fairly certain that they are also gearing up for Dan’s career change. He’s off for training and readiness for a whole new gig. Change has been brewing for months now, and day by day, all of the balls in the air will float back down and feel settled again. I’m sure this week and the birthday time has been very special for their fam.

Now for some weekend interneting:

Sunday marks the return of Game of Thrones. Are you SO excited? We are. Play a little catch up via Grantland here.

We follow Emily Katz on Instagram. She is a modern macrame artist with a banging sense of style at home, and we think you might be interested in crafting it up with her online course here.

We got together in Ashe County, North Carolina last week (see photo of our vintage shasta camper digs above). The experience was a blast, and has sent Betsy into research mode for her gypsy caravan dreams. She found an old Spartan Manor for sale in Augusta, Georgia for $1300, as-is. Dream with her, here.

Um, you can ship fabric (including Ikea Sofa Slipcovers) off to Brothers Dye House for a renewal in the hue of your dreams. We’re seeing all the possibilities of a DIY job gone well, without the mess.
