When my husband Dan and I started dating, we fantasized about what our life might be like when we “grew up” (both 22 yrs old at the beginning of the courtship). For a while our fantasies included 3 key elements,
a bernese mountain dog
a mini cooper, in which we two and our big dog would all pile in hanging out of all the windows
and then we would cruise around our neighborhood in coastal Italy

Awe. We don’t have/haven’t done any of the three, but then again I still don’t feel very grown up.
Coastal Italy, summer 2014? We’ll rent a vintage mini, and maybe even a Berner to ride with?
