Williams Living Room Part I
21 Mar
I’m going to split this post in to two parts because I think you’ll probably enjoy it more that way.
My friend emailed me last year when I was working on the Indiana Project and said hey I love the nurseries you did how about a living room? Before Thanksgiving 2010 she sent me photos of her living room, a quick sketch of the room and pictures of some pieces she’d seen online that she liked. She also gave me a budget and this plan breaks that budget BUT she lives a few hours away in a neighboring state and we can’t exactly go out thrifting together to save, so this is a starting point for her so she can see what could be done with her space.
I sent her the draft a couple of weeks ago and she loved it and I’m so thrilled. So to get her started the room is below with source information.
Here is the current space,

I noticed that the chevron throw blanket was left off the source list, that is from Lands End and also the storage ottoman is from Crate & Barrel.
Here is what I am pretty sure is the Wilmington floral fabric at work,

Part II of the Williams Living Room will cover the layout and the thought behind some of the choices.
If you’d like to see some of the other rooms I’ve put together select the category “TEOT designs” on the right side of your screen.
We love you. Let us know you were here!

Sarah moved here in January 2010. Check out her progress by following

love that fabric.
My favorite elements are the mirror, the coffee table, and that fabric! Both fabrics channel my grandmother’s house in the best way – which makes me love it even more. Those striped baskets are perfect for all of the toys floating around the room. I can’t wait to get started.
What do you think of the Graham furniture from Z Gallerie? Looks great online but I have not seen in person.
Bromeliad-I haven’t either honestly I’m a little apprehensive about Z Gallerie quality, I’ve seen some of their stuff in person and was pretty unimpressed by some not all, so I would advise my friend to see it in person before buying plus I’ve got a great alternative if the Graham furniture turns out to be a bust.
