We’re Moving

Good Morning, I’ve got big news.

We have to be out of our house by January 5th! You’re probably thinking thats crazy and what the hell has been going on.

Here’s what happened,

September 2010- Met this house and fell in love, negotiated for a few weeks, attempted to market my house as For Sale By Owner (we get several calls but nothing materialized)

October 2010- put my house on market for sale with our regular agent, hold open house (good turn out, lots of lookers), feel positive about quick sale because my previous house next door sold in 14 days in 2009, close on the new house

November 2010-no movement on house sale (anxiety level is shooting through the roof)

December 2010-advertise my house for rent (short lease) & keep house listed for sale, short lease deters interested tenants, take house off market & offer 12 month lease, my house rents in 4 days.

Goodbye bungalow, hello two-story traditional, I’ll be unveiling the interior of the new house soon.And maybe you’d like to see a recap of the renovation of my house?

But for now I’ve got to pack.
