A look that can stop traffic

As reported on Brandflakes for Breakfast, the city of Winston Salem, NC has commissioned artist Peter Gibson “Roadsworth” to create some custom works around town.

The project is part of the Inside/Out Series: Artists in the Community II exhibition at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA).

If I remember correctly, SECCA is part of Betsy’s old stomping ground as a Museum Studies major.

I love beauty in the everyday.

  • That’s awesome. Every city should do that. SECCA is a really great Museum, I loved interning there.

Also, glad to hear your time with Sweetshorn and Kristin was a fun one. Hate I wasn’t there!

  • wish you could’ve been there too. Sweetshorn, Kristin and I covered a wide range of topics during our drive to see Furbish Studio. David Duchovny, Ambien and bloggers we think need to close up shop tomorrow–oh yes decorating too, I think we hit all of the high points.
