I missed the Country Home issue with Thomas O’Brien.  I am on the hunt for that edition now.  If asked who my favorite designer is, I would be hard-pressed not to say Thomas O’Brien.  Looks like the same kitchen that was also featured in Domino.

I am scouring fabric sources right now so that I can make my own long rectangular pillow to center on the new sofa like the one below

John Gruen also shot for Brooke Reynolds’, Weekend Sewing.  See the post about the Vermont photo shoot Brooke wrote about on her beautiful blog (one of my favorites) Inchmark.  I have to tell you, Brooke’s post about leaving Brooklyn to move the family to California makes my eyes water a little every time I read it.

    I love the sofa in the picture of the long pillow. A pillow like that would be pretty in vintage linen…
